Bake-Kote™ 612RC is an aqueous based barrier coating designed for the rigors of the baking industry. The coated surfaces creates a barrier from grease while exhibiting excellent heat resistant and release qualities.
Bake-Kote™ 612RC is a unique 2 station rod application method that allows for a cost-effective alternative to PET laminate and 100% fluorocarbon based alternatives.
Bake-Kote™ 612RC can be adjusted to any color that PET laminate is available in. The most popular color is black solid under the name Bake-Kote™ 3045RC.
Gluing & Printing
Bake-Kote™ 612RC can be glued with hot-melt adhesives ONLY. Spectra-Kote can provide you with a detailed list of qualified adhesives best suited for use with this product.
Application Methods
Bake-Kote™ 612RC can be applied to a variety of paper substrates using a Rod Coater. The 2 pass process can be adjusted to tailor to a variety of end applications. Be advised, coat weight alterations and/or choice of substrates can significantly alter the performance results of the applied coating. Roto-Gravure and Flexo Press is an additional delivery system that is an excellent application method.
