Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI
Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI provides an atmospheric barrier to impede corrosion of moisture sensitive materials. This coating is cost competitive with standard industry inhibitors.
The coating has been designed to provide protection for 60 - 90 days from the time of application.
The Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI coating adds further benefits to corrosion control by providing good water and grease resistance and an excellent non-abrasive surface to the coated substrate.
Gluing and Printing
Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI can be glued with cold-set adhesives or hot-melt adhesives. Spectra-Kote can provide you with a detailed list of quialified adhesives best suited for use with this coating.
Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI is over-printable using Flexographic presses with standard flexo inks. It is recommended that all inks be reviewed for suitability of ink coverage characteristics prior to production to ensure optimum printing results.
Application Methods
Spectra-Guard™ 763-AVCI is suitable for application with any machinery designed for water-based formulations. These applications can include Blade Coater, Flexographic, Rod Coater, Air Knifes and Gravure processes.
