Spectra-Kote™ 3033
Spectra-Kote™ 3033 is an aqueous carbon based coating designed to provide paper packaging with properties ranging from conductive to static dissipative. The coating can be specially formulated to satisfy your packaging specifications for a particular conductivity.
The carbon formulation is ideal to meet the stringent Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements of packaging servicing electronics and communications marketplace.
Spectra-Kote also provides an ESD clear coat. This clear solution further enhances the conductivity of the coated substrate as well as providing gloss, rub and heat resistance.
Gluing and Printing
Spectra-Kote™ 3033 can be glued with cold-set adhesives or hot-melt adhesives.
Spectra-Kote™ 3033 is over-printable using Flexographic presses. It is recommended that all inks be reviewed for suitability of ink coverage characteristics prior to production to ensure optimum printing results.
Application Methods
Spectra-Kote™ 3033 is designed for application with Air-Knifes and Roll Coaters within in-line or off-line coating environments. Dryers or heat zones are required to cure the coating. Spectra-Kote also offers pre-coated liners to help eliminate downtime associated with coating in-line at the corrugator.
